It's A New DayI rise from the ashes,
The ashes of yesterday
Not of regrets, not of doubts
But of appreciation per se.

Staring at the horizon,
I saw the sun rouse
Signaling something new
Mayhap new vows.

Tis a new day,
A day for an adventure.
I'll save it for today
For tomorrow's unsure.

I walk down this road
Uncertain of what's to come
For yesterday was a disaster.
Oh! What have I become?

I was tangled in a web,
The web of eternal defeat.
I was bound to fate,
That fate filled with deceit.

How difficult it was
To conquer and defy,
But yesterday was mine
For the victor was I.

I see this mountain
Looking so perfect,
